Anglican Appeal

The Anglican Church of Canada consists of almost three thousand local congregations which gather for worship and learning, and extend the mission of God's kingdom by addressing the spiritual and material needs of their communities. Gathered into thirty dioceses by region, congregations share in diocesan, national, and world-wide mission. The General Synod is the national body responsible especially for work overseas and in Canada's north, in addition to other key elements of Anglican identity, worship and service. The Anglican Appeal is specifically intended to support ministry in Canada's northern regions, as well as theological education in northern Canada and in other parts of the world-wide Anglican Communion.
